Just a few short years ago I was 75 pounds overweight, lacking energy, and very low on confidence.
I was embarrassed to look in the mirror, hang out with friends or sometimes even go out in public at all.
I spent years and years trying to lose that weight. It became an obsession.
I tried ALL. THE. DIETS.
Every single one.
But nothing ever seemed to stick.
Until eventually I discovered what I'd been doing wrong all that time.
And with that discovery came the realization that my failure to get lasting results was not actually my fault...
... because the way all those diets were designed had triggered something called my 'famine response', which meant that my body was actively opposing all my efforts to lose the weight!
It was slowing my metabolism... preserving body fat... all to help me survive the famine it thought I was experiencing.
No wonder I wasn't having much success!
So now I knew the problem... it should be easy to figure out how to fix it, right?
Well, no.
